No creepy corridors or abandoned buildings for you then? You just come running?

That just makes me think you have something to hide there.

[ not that it matters, but there's definitely something here he can see out of the corner of his eye. it looks familiar, on the ground just behind chuuya but it's probably, definitely fine. ]

You're all in contact with each other? Despite the whole... two of them being dead? I've been told the only caveat in that they can't stay here long, but your friend seemed alright for those few hours on Saturday.

[ well, he might as well make it four for four, right? but--

hm.

he starts to follow but pauses when he sees the object on the ground. it's not his -- a pink cellphone lying on the ground with a litte white cat charm attached. but he's drawn to it anyway. as soon as his fingers brush it that barrier flashes into place, and the world warps itself into a memory.

only it's more like a report -- like someone reviewing video footage and paperwork (0:32 - 1:59). The video itself is ... dark, despairing, talking about someone with no hope, and no meaning.

"Adonis will mete out justice to the people
who delight in creating such despair.

Countdown to X-Day: IV.

The report that follows is more practical.

September 7th.
A video titled "Coundown to X-Day" was uploaded to the internet. The visual depicted Adonis' coin displaying the Roman Numeral IV.

That same day Ken Hachisuka, who lived alone, was found hanged to death in his apartment by his significant other.

Though it looked like suicide, the police investigated and discovered it was a homicide.

Only the Roman Numeral was found at the scene, not the coin.

It contains, detailing the police's belief this was an X-Day killing, and their narrowing the culprit down to someone who knew the victim from the free school they attended years before. When interrogated, the man declared himself a "chosen one", and an Adonis coin was found in his possession leading to his arrest.

When the memory ends, Shiraishi just blinks. ]

... they really show any sort of memory, don't they.
