[The next time Junpei steps through a door, he'll find himself walking into a completely different room-- a lavish office, with one wall fully windowed. There are plush chairs in front of said window, where Chuuya's seated; he beckons Junpei over when he enters.]
You guys are figuring the app out fast. Not a bad presentation, by the way.
[Jesus. The first thing he says when he enters is:]
You weren't kidding then. [This is swanky as fuck? But he also has the bottle of wine and he's approaching Chuuya, handing it over before he has a seat. He'll stare at the window for a second.]
I wanted to make sure this really worked, first of all, but...I also wanted to know some things about where we are. Do you guys even know that much yet?
...honestly, not really. We're on a boat, and so far, that's all I've got.
[he shrugs, holding a hand out for the bottle as he fetches two glasses. each of them is set to float in midair, each remaining right where he placed it with a faint red glow.]
[Junpei's going to spare him from bitching about boats and instead watch Chuuya's powers at work once the bottle's in his possession. That's still really cool, thanks.]
And the ruins out there? [A gesture out the window to indicate he means "the ocean" in general. This is probably after he jumped in the water, it's fine.] If it's a boat, we should be able to steer toward them shouldn't we?
[He thinks it's cool too, and he's a big showoff-- so he does the same with the bottle, letting it hover in midair for a few moments to pour each glass before handing one off to Junpei.]
Yeah, you would think so-- but you still need access to the right places to do that. I have no idea if this thing even has controls that we can get to.
[It's been way more than enough time for the horny to wear off, but Chuuya summons Junpei to a very fancy bedroom, anyway; he's sprawled on top of a huge, plush bed, but there are a couple of chairs in here as well if Junpei doesn't feel like hopping up there.
I feel I should clarify he's fully clothed. He's just chilling, arms folded behind his head.]
[It probably says something about Junpei's state of existence that he enters Chuuya's room, stares for a moment, and heads closer to sort of flop down on it. Should he sit in a chair? Yes. Does he care? No.]
You missed the finale. Are you jealous? [Tiredly. He doesn't know how much Chuuya saw in the end.]
Chuuya's brought Junpei to the arcade! He's even ditched his overcoat, because it's only going to get in the way here... and he looks slightly excited? He's ready. Gesturing to a racing game-]
[Hewwo again!! Junpei actually looks sort of happy when he enters the arcade. Chuuya ditched his coat but Junpei's wrapped in a leather jacket that he's claimed for his own, hands in his pockets as he approaches and looks at the game with passing interest.]
It's been a while, but I'm not unfamiliar. Challenging me already, Chuuya?
You and I have that in common. [There's a teasing look before he squints at the screen and slides into his own seat, setting up for a race.] Are we playing to play, or are we making this interesting? Like a bet.
[God a lot actually changed from when I submitted this request, so Junpei enters the office and Chuuya will notice a handful of things. One, he smells like alcohol. Two, he smells like cigarette smoke. Three, the knuckles of his right hand are still red from when he punched the ship's railing. Four, he looks dead inside.]
All of the above. [He walks in, but he doesn't have a seat yet.] I don't know how much you can tell me, but I thought I'd give you a progress report and go from there. I found two more, possibly three. I haven't spoken with the third myself but I have enough reason to believe.
[Likewise, the tone is incredibly flat and void.] I wanted to know if I could get clarification on one of my rules, because if it's not even something I have to worry about I won't.
[...and then, an aside:] ...I kind of just wanted to see you on my own instead of with everybody else anyway.
[He doesn't want to sit??? But at least he looks a tiny bit sheepish as he approaches and takes the glass and sits anyway.]
Well. One of our roles is dead again, so there's that. [Which is a huge problem of itself.] How much do you know about what the other hosts assign to their...whatever we are to you guys?
he's straight up not asking, he's just showing up at some point post-trial with an extra bottle for junpei because that's how we are fucking coping tonight!]
Thought you could maybe use this, too. What a fucking day.
[Where the fuck are they, who knows, who cares, because this fucking sucks!!! He still has bags under his eyes and the appearance of someone who was hit by a bus, but he takes the bottle and nods along.]
More like what a fucking weekend. The fact that this isn't over yet is probably the worst part.
[Well. Because today is bad, he'll also settle down but there's only a brief moment of hesitation before he kind of tips over to lean against Chuuya and let his head drop onto his shoulder. Deal with it. Sitting up is exhausting and everything sucks.]
Knowing how fucked up this place is, Higekiri's going to have to execute his own brother, too.
[after escorting the others out, chuuya turns back to junpei, folding his arms with a sigh. as he does, the movement exposes a long red ribbon wrapped around his left wrist.]
[Maybe the cat tendencies haven't worn off because he's staring at that ribbon pretty openly.]
The hell is that? [Focus, Tenmyouji. He shakes his head.] I need to know what comes next. I know the other side's gotta be preparing for something because they're passing information to us, and now we have sight of the demon that's left. We're working on a plan for that, but we still have Day 50.
I need to know if the ritual is really what we're supposed to do, and a clue on how to perform it. [...] If that's too much or might not net results, I have back-up plans.
...cute. ["Why are people calling him that." But he doesn't ask and instead he just...nods. That's fair.]
Then can we talk about what you're barricading the door from? [There's a frown.] I want to know more about your higher-ups and who's orchestrating this. And...
...I need to make sure I really haven't ever been here before.

[he's tired, he's fine with passing it off to carlos? it also means he's not catching shit for what happened.]
Don't envy Carly dealing with that mess, but hopefully calling him in gets more people to catch on that they can actually talk to him and Polly.
[maybe it wasn't just horny crimes.]
