[The next time Hizamaru opens a door, he'll find himself stepping into a large, lavish office instead, with one wall entirely windowed and looking out into the sky. He'll have to get closer to see if there's anything else visible-- they look like they're pretty high up, right now.
There are a few plush chairs in front of that window, and Chuuya's seated in one, looking thoughtfully out into the clouds until he hears Hizamaru enter.]
There you are. I wondered when I'd get to meet with both of you.
[A pause, and a sigh.]
I don't think any of us really expected that thing to be so damn hard to get rid of, for the record.
[Oh no?? The windows. What the fuck! He's so startled by the view that when he slowly walks in and makes his way toward it, he doesn't even notice Chuuya until someone speaks.
And then he startles just a bit again, his hand going to the hilt of his sword--oh. He relaxes.] Chuuya-san... [Which sounds so weird now knowing there's TWO Chuuyas.
[Frowning, he watching the wineglass that's meant for him without taking it. His brow creases. There's a moment like he thinks about sitting down, too, but then he shifts. Too much frustrated energy.]
I won't. I promise. [A pause. He glances up.] Do you know... what might happen now that it has become free?
...it's still going to be out there. We're keeping an eye out to try and figure out what that's going to mean for you guys, but-- I don't think it's going to be anything good.
[he rubs at his face, there, shaking his head.]
I can't give you too many details right now, but we'll try to let you guys know.
I see. I’m sorry for putting such a burden on everyone.
[The frown he has grows deeper. He’s unleashed something on everyone with his negligence, and he’s not sure how he will ever redeem himself.
Finally, he moves, but not to sit. He paces to the window to stay and look out. The reflection has distant eyes until he turns to glance over his shoulder at Chuuya.]
Chuuya-san, are you able to give a message to Prompto-san for me?
[He looks saddened momentarily, but perhaps not dissuaded.] Okay. Carlos-san or Polly-san? I'll try them, too. [He needs to speak to one of them anyway.]
Is there something in particular I should be doing, Chuuya-san? I've been listening to elder brother's instructions... And asking Junpei-san if he needs help, but he seems to like doing things on his own.
[Or, rather, doesn't like involving Hiza, of course.]
[Junpei is maybe just Like This. Chuuya smiles slightly at the mention of Higekiri, though.]
Your brother seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders, so- keep listening to him. Make sure you don't get yourself killed through inaction, either. Beyond that-- it sounds to me like you're doing fine.
[Not long after sending that pic to Chuuya, Hizamaru will find himself back in the office! Welcome back. Chuuya is chilling on a chair, not wearing his hat for once (it won't fit over the fox ears.) He's got a matching fluffy tail, which wags slightly as Hizamaru appears.]
Oh, good, you figured out it works from over there.
[His smile is soft, fond, and sad all at once.] Shishi no Ko. [Yes, he thinks a lion is a fitting thing for his brother. Higekiri is probably very beautiful and regal, but he doesn't say it. Though it sort of shows in his eyes.]
I'm not sure if you will be able to grant my request, Chuuya-san. Since you are not on our side. I may have to ask Carlos-san and Polly-san, but... you can create things, so I wanted to ask you first.
I see. That's okay, Chuuya-san. It makes sense to do it that way. I do not know if I would be able to take it back with me.
[Again, he bows at the shoulders briefly, like a thanks, a fist on his hip.]
Please tell Elder Brother the Lion that I am okay. Please tell him... [No, there's too much to say, and he thinks he might become a crybaby in front of Chuuya. He swallows.] Remind him to not break and to be kind.
Shifting the sword, he folds himself on one knee, close enough he can rest the side of his face on Chuuya's knee. He closes his eyes, but his brows are tight.]
If you are unable... please just show him kindness, especially when he least deserves it, Chuuya-san.
[His frown darkens. He glances from the door to Chuuya, like he's uncertain.]
Elder brother. I need you to put a sageo around his sword. It should be fashioned into... a safety knot. I know you... may not be able to make it unbreakable, but that is okay. He will understand.
Things... may not go as planned. Please help me keep him safe.
...I think you're going to have to explain that one a little bit more.
[like, yes, his sister figure's a swordswoman and he knows what one is, but that doesn't mean he's as familiar as he'd like to be with what hiza means by this...]
I'll do what I can, but a little extra detail never hurts.

I'm sorry. For failing to destroy it.

If you have to exorcise one again-- don't let that happen a second time.

[His eyes follow Hizamaru as he paces, brow furrowed slightly, and at that question-- he looks a little apologetic.]
-sorry, Hizamaru, but I'm not the one you need to be asking about that. I don't really have anything to do with the other side.

Chuuya-san. It's nice to see you again.
[He bows at the head and shoulders in greeting, and then he--blinks? Those definitely weren't there last time.]
Ah--you look like a kitsune.

I think I lucked out, yeah-- they seem to suit me pretty well.
[another lazy little flick of his tail, there. people keep complimenting him? he's vain? stop.]
Your brother's a lion, it's cute.

Chuuya-san, what has happened? If you are in danger, please tell me.

I will show you, Chuuya-san. Quickly. It is not a difficult knot to tie, but it keeps the sword from being drawn.
