chuuya sets a hand on his shoulder, and abruptly gravity inverts. i'm sure dick will stick the landing because he is himself, so they're on the ceiling now... but the weird thing is, it doesn't feel like they're upside down. it legitimately feels like the ceiling is now the ground, and their clothes even hang toward the ceiling rather than draping back down to the ground.

no warning or anything, he just fucking does this before he answers.]

I'll tell you if you stay a while. I'm sure you know the kind of currency this place runs on, yeah?

[ dick absolutely sticks the landing! he also looks like he wants to do a flip but realizes he cannot because chuuya has to keep hold of him. sad. he laughs a bit. ]

Portable reverse-gravity field. Nice. [ he looks back down at the chairs for a second before looking at chuuya with what would be a raised eyebrow but like, mask. so. his eye goes a bit squinty ig ] Even if I hadn't experienced it firsthand, I think Nathan made that one plenty obvious for anyone paying attention.

But it's more than just reverse gravity. I can affect the strength and direction of its force on what I touch-- either stop a bullet, or throw it faster than a gun can shoot. Pretty handy for weighting my own strikes, too.
